Since Sesame Street began in 1969, Caroll Spinney has delighted kids
of all ages with the 8'2" Big Bird. He can roller skate, ice skate,
dance, sing, write poetry, and even ride a unicycle! Ask him to recite
the alphabet, but he might try to sing it as one big long word!

This trash can dwelling fellow goes by the name Oscar the Grouch. He loves trash, has a pet worm named Slimey, and once had Gordon read him entries from a phone book for no reason.
But don't ever wake him up, even if it's just to tell him that his Wet Paint has dried.
The silent, but reliable Bruno the Trashman carries Oscar to where he needs to go. He keeps quiet while Oscar talks, because he figures it's best not to talk back to a Grouch!
